As we prepare for our Premier League visit to Anfield, the injury situation is still worse than we would like.
We will miss several players for this match, with the latest count reaching nine, plus Jackson makes it ten.
Nkunku and Gusto are still in full training. Levi Colwill is the new addition to the injury list. The defender suffered an injury before Chelsea’s FA Cup game against Aston Villa and we will find out more about it in today’s press conference.
The club website reports that Cucurella, Chalobah, Colwill, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez and Ugochukwu will all be absent for this cup tie.
Nkunku and Gusto are both fit but they may not start the game.
Jackson could return sooner than expected after his team was eliminated from AFCON last night. He is likely to be ready for the Wolves game at the weekend if he does not make it for tomorrow.
