As we prepare for our FA Cup 4th round clash with Aston Villa, the injury situation is still not ideal. We have nine players out, plus Jackson, making it ten in total.
Chalobah is back in full training, which is good news, but he might not be ready for tomorrow. The same goes for Nkunku and Gusto.
According to the club website, we will have to do without Cucurella, Gusto, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez, Ugochukwu and Nkunku for this important match.
Nathan Gissing said on Monday that Gusto’s injury is not serious, just a muscle overload, and he is on his way to recovery. The club said he is in the reconditioning phase.
