Chelsea played a game against Aston Villa and it ended in a tie, 2-2. At first, they were losing 2-0, but then they scored two goals in the second half. They almost won at the end, but the referees said one of their players did something wrong earlier, so the goal didn’t count. This game was really important because in the last game, Chelsea lost 5-0 to Arsenal.
One of Chelsea’s important players, Cole Palmer, came back to play against Villa after missing the Arsenal game because he wasn’t feeling well. He should be ready to play for the rest of the season. But Chelsea’s coach, Mauricio Pochettino, had some problems because many of his main players were named on the injury report. He had to use younger players from the bench for this game.
Some of the injured players are getting better, though. So, maybe they will be back soon to help Chelsea. Chelsea really wants to get into a good position for the European competition, and they have another game coming up against Tottenham. It’s a big game, and they hope they can win it.
