Mauricio Pochettino reveals why Chelsea duo will not play in Tottenham showdown

Mauricio Pochettino talked about Christopher Nkunku and Levi Colwill’s injuries, saying they’re not ready yet to play against Tottenham. He mentioned that he’s dealing with a lot of injured players, so he might give some young players a chance to play in the game.

However, there’s some good news too. Colwill and Nkunku have been training fully with the team again. But even though they’re training hard, they’re still not ready to play in the upcoming match.

Pochettino explained that they’re very close to being fit enough to play. He hopes they’ll be ready for the game against West Ham on Sunday. But they still need to be watched closely to see if they’re really ready for the competition.

Thiago Silva might not play again for Chelsea after hurting his groin in the last match. He only has a few games left to try and get back to full fitness before he leaves the team in the summer.

Losing Silva will make Chelsea’s squad even younger. But Pochettino thinks it’s a chance for new leaders to step up. He believes that after being with the team for almost a year, they’re helping the players grow and become better, even without Silva.
