England’s national team player wanted to give a shoutout to his teammate for doing great in their recent match on Monday night.

Cole Palmer, who plays forward for Chelsea, had a fantastic first year with the team. Despite some tough times for Chelsea overall, he managed to score 26 goals in 45 games in different competitions. He’s been scoring so well that only his former teammate Erling Haaland is ahead of him in the race for the Premier League’s Golden Boot.

Palmer got two big awards on Tuesday to celebrate his awesome season: Chelsea’s Men’s Player of the Season and the Men’s Players’ Player of the Year.

There’s been a lot of talk about Chelsea’s way of getting new players, especially after they lost in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool in February. But Palmer’s success shows that the team’s strategy is working well.

Palmer also wanted to give props to another player who joined Chelsea recently. Malo Gusto has been playing really well, especially filling in for Reece James, who’s been out injured. Palmer even voted for Gusto as the Players’ Player of the Year, saying he loves playing with him on the right side.

“It was Malo Gusto who got my vote for Players’ Player of the Year. I really enjoy playing with him on the right side. He’s been awesome this season whenever he’s been on the field,” Palmer said.
