The boss of the Blues, Mauricio Pochettino, talked openly about how tough it’s been not knowing what’s next for him at Chelsea.

He said that despite the team’s recent wins and good position for European qualification, his job is still up in the air. No one has said if he’ll stay on after the next two games.

His future will be decided after the season ends, in a meeting with Behdad Eghbali and sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.

Pochettino admitted the uncertainty has made things difficult. He said, “It’s uncomfortable not knowing if I’ll be here or not. Ultimately, it’s not my call. If the owners want a change, we’ll know soon after the season ends.”

He also mentioned that all the speculation affects the team and staff more than him personally. He emphasized the importance of clarity for everyone involved.

Despite the uncertainty, the team has performed well in recent matches, showing they can focus on the game despite the off-field distractions.

Pochettino highlighted the players’ confidence in him and the strong bond they share. He believes they’re not distracted by the rumors.

He’s previously urged Chelsea’s leaders to clarify his future publicly, suggesting they might not be bothered by the speculation. However, he understands it’s part of the job, especially at a club with high expectations like Chelsea.
