Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, says it wouldn’t be a disaster if he left the club this summer. He wants to see how things go till the season ends before making any decisions.

The chiefs at Chelsea will have a talk about whether Pochettino should stay or go when the season is over. Even though Pochettino still has a year left on his contract, his job isn’t guaranteed.

Pochettino wants everyone to know it’s not just up to the owners if he stays or leaves. He and his team will also think about whether they’re happy at Chelsea.

He says, “We’re all being looked at here. If we’re happy, great. But it’s not just about the owner or the bosses being happy. If we’re not happy, we might decide to leave.”

He also mentions that sometimes coaching staff decide to leave at the end of a season. But right now, it could go either way.

He appreciates that co-owner Todd Boehly said good things about Chelsea’s progress under him. But he knows that doesn’t guarantee he’ll stay next season.

Pochettino, along with Chelsea’s bosses, will chat after the season ends to figure out what happens next.

He says, “Todd was being real. It’s better if the owner is happy, but we need to see how things go. Even though things weren’t perfect, we’re happy we could finish the season.”

Reece James might make a comeback against Nottingham Forest after being out with an injury since December.
