Chelsea Football Club has been interested in Victor Osimhen, a talented footballer from Nigeria, for quite some time. However, it looks like they won’t pursue him this summer.

Osimhen, who plays for Napoli, is expected to leave the Italian team. Chelsea, known as the Blues, have been mentioned as a possible new team for him. People at Chelsea, especially since Enzo Maresca became the coach, really admire Osimhen and want to bring in a great striker like him.

Paris Saint-Germain, a big club in France, is also looking at Osimhen. They need someone good to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is moving to Real Madrid.

But, the price to get Osimhen is very high – about £113 million. That’s a lot of money, and Chelsea might need to sell some players to not break the Premier League’s money rules.

They might sell two players who grew up in their own youth system, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah. Also, Ian Maatsen might make his temporary move to Borussia Dortmund a permanent one.

Romelu Lukaku, another Chelsea player, is also likely to leave for good. He’s been playing for Inter Milan and Roma on loan. Napoli is interested in him, but there’s no talk of swapping him for Osimhen.

Chelsea might let Lukaku go for about £38 million, even though he has two years left on his contract with them.
