Jose Mourinho, the well-known football manager, shared his thoughts while working as a commentator for TNT Sports. He suggested that Manchester City, the reigning Premier League champions, might find the current situation of Chelsea and Manchester United quite amusing.

At 61, Mourinho was on the panel when his former team, Real Madrid, clinched the Champions League title by beating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.

In a surprising turn of events, Mourinho has taken up the managerial reins at Fenerbahce, signing a two-year contract. This marks his return to coaching after his departure from Roma earlier in the year.

Mourinho, often referred to as the ‘Special One’, boasts a remarkable career with 26 trophies won in four different nations. This new role with Fenerbahce will be his 11th managerial position.

There was speculation that Mourinho might return to Chelsea to fill the vacancy left by Mauricio Pochettino, but Enzo Maresca was appointed instead.

When asked about Pochettino’s unexpected exit from Chelsea, Mourinho admitted he was clueless.

He also commented on Manchester United’s season, acknowledging a slight improvement but noting that the team’s overall performance hadn’t changed much, even with Erik ten Hag winning the FA Cup.

Mourinho spoke fondly of Tottenham, one of his former clubs, praising their consistent efforts to secure a top-four finish and their potential to succeed in the Europa League next season. He highlighted the club’s stability, investment, and top-notch facilities, including their impressive stadium.

As for Chelsea’s future, Mourinho expressed uncertainty.

Lastly, Mourinho opined that Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, must be amused by the disarray at some of his rival clubs as he aims for a fifth straight league title.

In summary, Mourinho sees Guardiola having the last laugh as he navigates Manchester City towards another potential championship while other clubs struggle to keep pace.
