Fenerbahce’s New Boss Makes a Splash in Istanbul

On Sunday, the famous coach Jose Mourinho was greeted with huge excitement as he was introduced as the new manager of Fenerbahce.

Aziz Yildirim, who’s hoping to be elected as the club’s president again after leading them for two decades, spilled the beans on Mourinho’s wishlist. He’s eyeing Chelsea’s big forward Romelu Lukaku and the skilled attacker Paulo Dybala.

Yildirim teased the crowd in Istanbul, saying, “We’ve got our eyes on Lukaku, Dybala, and Talisca. But we’ll keep the rest a secret until I win the election.”

Word on the street is Lukaku could be snagged for about £20 million since his time at Roma is up. Mourinho had brought him there, and now even Napoli, with their new boss Antonio Conte, seems to be in the mix for him.

Dybala, another star Mourinho brought to Roma, might be a bargain with a £10 million price tag to break his contract. And then there’s Anderson, the Brazilian wizard with the ball, currently dazzling fans over at Al Nassr.

Mourinho couldn’t hide his gratitude at the press event. “Thanks for the warm welcome,” he said. “It’s amazing to feel this loved even before we’ve won anything. It’s a big deal for me, and I promise I’m all in with Fenerbahce now. I’m ready to share your passion for football and make this team a success.
