Chelsea Set to Challenge Arsenal for Benjamin Sesko by Activating £56m Clause

Arsenal and Chelsea are both eager to sign Benjamin Sesko, the talented striker from RB Leipzig. Sesko had a standout season in the Bundesliga, catching the eye of these top English clubs. He’s got a price tag of £56 million, but that’s not scaring anyone off. Arsenal might try to negotiate that down, while Chelsea seems ready to pay up if it means getting their man.

Arsenal seems to have a bit of a head start in the race for Sesko, but Chelsea isn’t backing down. They’ve been keeping tabs on Victor Osimhen too, but his £100+ million price is a bit steep. They’re also fans of Evan Ferguson from Brighton, but he’s not on their shopping list this summer.

Over at Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson had a decent first season, scoring 14 times in the Premier League. Whoever joins will have to battle it out with him for a spot on the team.

Chelsea’s also got a new boss, Enzo Maresca, who’s just taken over. He’s got big plans for the club and can’t wait to get started. He’s been doing his homework on the team while vacationing in Marbella and will officially roll up his sleeves on July 1.

Maresca’s got a five-year deal to shape Chelsea’s future, with an option to stay even longer. The players are buzzing about working with him, making him the fourth manager to take the reins in two years.
