Chelsea fans have something to cheer about as Omari Kellyman makes his way from Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge. The young midfielder, just 18 years old, signed a six-year contract that could extend to 2031. This transfer reportedly cost Chelsea around £19 million.

Kellyman expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s a dream come true to join such a massive club with amazing history. I can’t wait to get started.”

This move is part of Chelsea’s ongoing focus on signing young talent. They recently brought in Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, a deal that might reach up to £51 million. They’re also close to signing teenage striker Marc Guiu from Barcelona for £5 million and Boca Juniors’ 19-year-old defender Aaron Anselmino for £17 million.

While Chelsea strengthens its youth ranks, they also made some sales. Ian Maatsen moved to Aston Villa for £35 million, and winger Omari Hutchinson is set to join Ipswich for a club-record £22.5 million. Additionally, Hakim Ziyech transferred permanently to Galatasaray.

Chelsea is still in talks to acquire Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester and has shown interest in Leeds’ young talent Archie Gray.

The Blues are clearly committed to building a strong future with these exciting young players.
