‘He would help a lot’ Freddy Adu asked Manchester United to sign Barcelona loanee, Sergiño Dest.

Freddy Adu, a former USMNT star advised Manchester United to sign Barcelona fullback Sergino Dest, who is now on loan at AC Milan.

Adu, who was just 16 years old when he went on trial with the Red Devils in 2006, thinks the 22-year-old would fit in well at Old Trafford. According to reports, Erik ten Hag is looking for a replacement for Diogo Dalot at right-back, and the former USMNT starlet thinks Dest would be the ideal choice, acknowledging that United are in need of some talent.

Adu on his session with Offers.Bet. said:  “I think he’d be a great signing for Man U – the way he plays, he’s so good in his position and with the current state of Manchester United right now, they need as many good players as they can get,” He continued “‘The team isn’t exactly the Manchester United that we have come to know. They’re still playing well and they’ve got better and playing better, but they are far from the Manchester United that we come to remember. I hope he does go there as I think he would help the team out a lot.”

WHAT’S THE FUTURE FOR DEST: Gregg Berhalter included Dest in his USMNT team for the Qatar match. On Monday against Wales, the Stars and Stripes begin their 2022 World Cup campaign.
