Mixed reports as tension rises over Gallagher’s future

Chelsea fans were shocked this morning, just days after their Premier League match against Luton Town. The reason was Conor Gallagher’s uncertain future.
DiMarzio, an Italian source, reported that Tottenham were negotiating with Chelsea for Gallagher. DiMarzio said the deal was worth €40m.
This caused a frenzy on social media, even though Chelsea did not confirm anything. It was a bad distraction for the club before an important game. Chelsea are already under pressure, being 10th in the table.
After Chelsea won 3-2 over Luton, Ben Jacobs, an insider, gave his update. He said that, contrary to the Italian reports, Tottenham had NOT contacted Chelsea about Gallagher yet.
This saga is not over, and the transfer window is still closed.
