The shock of losing the first leg 1-0 to Middlesbrough still lingers in the minds of Chelsea fans.

Frank Leboeuf, a former Chelsea player, has been criticising Pochettino’s strategy and performance on ESPN. He expressed his frustration with the lack of creativity and vision. He said;

“It’s not enough to run and sprint, you need to have a clear idea of what you want to achieve, a tactic, a plan, but there is no plan, it’s just like yeah ‘we hold the ball and we have no clue what to do’.

I have some hope for the second leg at Stamford Bridge, but I’m not overly confident.”

Chelsea will try to overcome the one goal disadvantage on January 24th at their home ground. Before that, they will face Fulham in the Premier League.”
