Chelsea Football Club faces a tough challenge in the West London derby, as they have to cope with a long injury list. The latest update shows that 12 players are doubtful, and 9 are definitely out.
However, there is some good news for the blues, as Chilwell, Badiashile and Chukwuemeka have resumed full training. They have been sidelined for most of the season, so their return is a welcome boost.
Pochettino still has to deal with the absence of Chalobah, Cucurella, James, Fofana, Lavia, Nkunku, Sanchez and Ugochukwu for the next Premier league game. Chalobah is nearing a full recovery, while Nkunku is following a “rehabilitation programme” according to the injury report. French media reported that Nkunku might be fit in time, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Jackson will also miss the game, as he is participating in the African Cup of Nations, which starts this weekend.
