Former midfielder of Chelsea, Barcelona, Monaco and Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas retired from playing football in July after a brief spell with Como in Serie B.

Fabregas is now an assistant coach at the Italian club and has shared his experience of working there with Sky Sports. The former Premier League champion revealed that Como are currently third in the second tier of Italian football, only four points behind the leaders.

When asked by Sky Sports which coaches he admires, Fabregas said, “I don’t study the coaches themselves, but their philosophies. I’m still learning and I don’t claim to know it all. Right now, De Zerbi, Guardiola and Mikel Arteta are the ones I follow the most in the Premier League and get inspired by.”

Considering that those three are among the best in the league, Fabregas could become a great coach if he adopts their philosophies. Who knows, maybe one day he will return to Stamford Bridge as a manager.
