How to watch Chelsea vs Aston Villa in the FA Cup

UK viewers will not be able to watch Chelsea’s game at Stamford Bridge tonight, even though it is in a UK TV slot. The game will be televised as usual for the rest of the world.

The reason for this is that Tottenham vs Manchester City was chosen for TV coverage in the UK instead.

Chelsea explained why the game was scheduled for Friday, 26 January: “This is the only possible date for the game. It is because Fulham will play Newcastle United at home, they have their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg with Liverpool on 24 January, and Aston Villa will play in the Premier League on January 30.”

The game will be shown on ESPN + in the USA, with a kick off time of 2.45pm ET. In Australia, Paramount + Sports will broadcast the game. SuperSport will cover the game in South Africa and Nigeria.

If you miss the game, you can watch the highlights on the Chelsea website soon after the game or on Match of the Day in the UK.
