Pochettino says Chelsea DON’T have a set-piece specialist ONE day after transfer deadline

The transfer window closed a little over 24 hours ago, but Chelsea’s manager, Pochettino, still has some regrets. In a recent press conference before their match against Wolves, he mentioned that he doesn’t think they have anyone in the team who is really good at taking set pieces.

Pochettino admitted that they lack a specialist in dead ball situations and suggested that only one player on the team has a good delivery, possibly referring to Chilly. He pointed out that having someone like James Ward-Prowse from West Ham, who is known for his set-piece skills, can significantly improve a team’s chances.

Pochettino emphasized that while they can work on improving set pieces, having a specialist player like Ward-Prowse can make a big difference. Chelsea will be playing against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and they hope to overcome their weaknesses in this match at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
