The latest squad report just came out, and it says that Cucurella, Badiashile, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez, and Ugochukwu won’t be playing in tomorrow’s game against Crystal Palace. So, once again, Pochettino doesn’t have all his players to choose from.
It would have been easy to guess Pochettino’s team for the game if Badiashile hadn’t gotten injured after Chelsea won the FA Cup against Aston Villa. But now, things are a bit more uncertain.
It looks like three of the defenders will definitely play, but there’s a question about whether Levi Colwill will be risked. Pochettino might choose to bring back Thiago Silva instead, playing it safe.
In midfield, it’s likely that Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo will pair up again. Gallagher scored a goal recently, so he might get the nod too.
For the front three, I think we’ll see Jackson on the left, Nkunku in the middle, and Palmer on the right. This game is really important for Chelsea, so Pochettino needs to make the right choices. Anything less than a win could hurt Chelsea’s chances in the European league.
