Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, firmly stated that he would never leave the team, despite some fans calling for his dismissal during a recent match against Brentford. He believes the fans wouldn’t support a new manager any more than they support him.

The pressure is on Pochettino as Chelsea sits in 11th place in the Premier League, performing below expectations. Pochettino emphasized that the current Chelsea team is different from the successful squads of the past. He urged people to understand that this is a new project.

When asked if he would quit as manager, Pochettino adamantly responded with a “No”. He also addressed the idea of Jose Mourinho, a former Chelsea manager, possibly doing a better job. Pochettino respects Mourinho but believes in his own abilities and the support of the players.

He expressed confidence in the team’s attitude and unity, stating that he knew the challenges when he took on the job and remains committed to the project.
