Chelsea want to get a young defender from Lille named Leny Yoro in the summer. They’re thinking about this because Thiago Silva might leave soon.

Yoro has played really well in France this season. He’s only 18, and other big teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in him.

Chelsea needs a new defender because Thiago Silva might leave when his contract ends. He’s almost 40, and he might leave for free.

Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea’s coach, hasn’t been playing Silva in the last few games. This is because some of their other defenders are injured.

Yoro would be a great addition to Chelsea’s team. He’s played a lot of games for Lille already and even represents France at the Under-21 level.

Paris Saint-Germain really wants Yoro too. They don’t want to lose him to Chelsea.

The owners of Chelsea want to get the best young players for every position. They’re also looking at other defenders like Ousmane Diomande from Sporting and Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.

Chelsea also wants to get a new striker and a left-back. They’re not worried about spending a lot of money because they’re allowed to.

Chelsea lost a lot of money last year, but they’re still following the rules. They might sell some players to balance their finances. Romelu Lukaku could be one of them.

Newcastle might buy Lewis Hall for £28m after his loan deal ends. Chelsea might also sell other young players like Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

This would give them more money to buy new players.
