Chelsea’s players showed their support for Raheem Sterling after he faced difficulties during the FA Cup match. Sterling, playing for the Blues, had a tough time in Sunday’s game against Leicester City. He missed a penalty and several other chances to score. He also made a bad free-kick that went way off target.

Some Chelsea fans booed Sterling during the game and when he was substituted for Noni Madueke. Even the head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, faced mocking chants from fans for his decisions during the match.

However, Chelsea’s substitutions paid off in the end. Madueke and Carney Chukwuemeka, who came on from the bench, scored in the second half of the game. This helped Chelsea win the match 4-2 and secure a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals against Manchester City.

Despite the tough game, Sterling apologized to Chelsea fans on social media for his missed penalty. His teammates showed him a lot of support, with messages of encouragement flooding in from all sides.

Pochettino also backed Sterling, acknowledging the tough time he had during the game. He emphasized the need to support Sterling, highlighting his experience and contribution to the team.

Regarding the booing of substitutions by Chelsea fans, Pochettino explained that he makes decisions based on what’s best for the team. He acknowledged the fans’ disappointment but urged them to trust in the club’s decisions and support the team through thick and thin.
