Chelsea’s got some bad news. Two of their players, Trevoh Chalobah and Robert Sanchez, got hurt before they’re about to play in the Premier League again.

Chalobah’s been playing as a center-back for Chelsea in the last four games. He’s been doing a good job since they lost the Carabao Cup Final against Liverpool. But now, he’s hurt, and that’s not good news for the team.

It’s not just Chalobah; there are other players injured too. Levi Colwill is out, and Mauricio Pochettino, the coach, has to choose between Thiago Silva or Benoit Badiashile to replace him.

And it’s not just the players on the field who are hurt. Backup goalkeeper Sanchez and Carney Chukwuemeka are also on the injury list. Chukwuemeka had to leave the England Under-21 squad to get treatment for his injury.

Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia are also hurt. Nkunku’s still sidelined, and Lavia won’t be playing for the rest of the season. That’s a lot of players out with injuries!

To make things worse, Reece James and Wesley Fofana have been out for a long time.

Chelsea’s next match is against Burnley. They really need to win to end the season on a good note. Right now, Chelsea’s not doing so great in the Premier League. They’re stuck in the bottom half of the table.
