Gary Cahill, a former Chelsea player, wants fans to give Mauricio Pochettino some time. He thinks recent games show that things are getting better at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino got criticized by fans during the FA Cup match against Leicester. But Cahill says we need to be patient. Chelsea might be 11th in the table, but they have an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City soon. Cahill won many trophies during his time at Chelsea and believes Pochettino can do the same if given time.

The team will play against Burnley soon, and Cahill thinks the young players at Chelsea are improving. He says the squad is very young and needs time to grow and learn.

Cahill talks about some young players he’s impressed with, like Levi Colwill and Conor Gallagher. He believes these players can help the team improve.

He also mentions other young talents like Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, Axel Disasi, and Malo Gusto. Cahill says they’re learning to adapt to playing for a big club like Chelsea.

Cahill retired in 2022, but he’ll be playing for the England XI at Soccer Aid in June. He enjoys being part of it and supports the cause it raises money for.

Soccer Aid for Unicef 2024 will be at Stamford Bridge on June 9. You can get tickets at www.socceraid.org.uk/tickets.
