Chelsea manager Emma Hayes responds to Jonas Eidevall fallout by reading Robert Frost poem

Emma Hayes spoke at a press conference, and it was quite dramatic, like something Eric Cantona might do. People were mostly talking about her pushing Arsenal’s manager, Jonas Eidevall.

She’s 47, and she accused Eidevall of acting aggressively after they clashed following a 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Conti Cup final at Molineux.

But Eidevall says he wasn’t being aggressive and called Emma’s comments “irresponsible.” He said they made the game look bad.

Emma mentioned a conversation she had with her son. He told her that if you push someone at school, you’re told to take a break. She explained to him that you shouldn’t respond to aggression with aggression. Instead, you should tell a teacher why it’s not fair. She thought it was a good talk to have with her son after the final.

She said she won’t talk to Eidevall about it. She still believes he acted aggressively, but she doesn’t have his number. She joked that maybe they’ll talk when she’s the boss of the USA.

Emma didn’t want to say much more about the incident. She quoted a poem by Robert Frost to suggest that sometimes people go too far with praise or blame and should stay focused.

Now, she’s getting ready to play against Manchester United. She mentioned that her captain, Millie Bright, is still out, and she’s not sure when she’ll be back.

Emma talked about how important it is to take breaks to recharge, especially during international breaks. She feels refreshed and ready for the rest of the season.

She’s focused on staying present with her family and using techniques like breathing exercises and meditation to stay calm and happy.
