Thiago Silva has decided what he wants to do next at Chelsea, but he hasn’t told everyone yet. He’ll let us know soon.
After Chelsea lost to Manchester City in the FA Cup, Silva was really upset. He knows his time at Chelsea might be ending soon because his contract finishes in June.
When people asked him if he’s leaving Chelsea, he said, “I’ll tell you soon. I don’t want to talk about it now because we just lost.” He’s sad about the game, but he’ll let us know his decision soon.
Silva came to Chelsea in 2020 without any transfer fee and played a big part in winning the Champions League in 2021.
Even though he’s getting older, he still feels good and doesn’t want to stop playing. He said, “My four years here were great. It’s not easy to keep up in this league at my age, but I still feel like I can play at a high level for a few more years. Today, I was even ready to play extra time!”
