Emma Hayes eyeing Stamford Bridge sell-out as Chelsea host Barcelona

Chelsea has sold more than 27,000 tickets for their big game against Barcelona in the Champions League. It’s happening at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

Last time in Spain, Chelsea won 1-0, which made their coach Emma Hayes super proud. It was one of her best moments in her 12 years as Chelsea’s boss. Erin Cuthbert scored the only goal, and it was a big deal because Barcelona hadn’t lost at home for five whole years!

Now, Emma Hayes wants the stadium to be packed for the next game. She’s leaving Chelsea soon to coach the United States women’s national team, so she wants this to be a perfect goodbye. Winning the Champions League is the only thing she hasn’t done with Chelsea yet.

She says, “It’s really important that the game is sold out. Our team deserves to play in front of a full stadium to have the best chance of winning. We’ll need all the support because Barcelona will try everything to beat us. To move forward, we need everyone’s help.
