Chelsea have hit a snag before their game against Arsenal on Tuesday. Star player Cole Palmer might not be able to play because he’s feeling unwell.

Even though Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, said Palmer isn’t hurt, he did say Palmer probably won’t play. Palmer, who’s 21 years old, has been amazing for Chelsea this season, even though the team has had a tough time. He’s become really important for the team.

Palmer has scored 20 goals this season, which puts him in the running for the Golden Boot with Erling Haaland. He’s also given nine assists, which is more than most players.

Pochettino said they’ll check on Palmer on Tuesday morning before they head to the Emirates Stadium to play Arsenal.

“We’ll see tomorrow,” he said. “We need to check tomorrow morning. Today, I don’t think he can play, but we’ll see tomorrow. Even if he feels better tomorrow, he might still not be able to play.”

Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell might also not play because they’re not feeling well.

“Malo hurt his knee a bit,” Pochettino said. “I hope it’s not serious. Chilly also has the same problem he’s had for the past few weeks, after playing for the national team.
