One of Chelsea’s numerous loanees is a player the Gunners are interested in.

According to rumours, Arsenal is considering a swoop in the summer as Chelsea is set to unload a number of players to balance their enormous buying spree.

The west London club spent over £250 million in January on nine new players, including young players, big-money signings, and Joao Felix, who was loaned to them for an enormous sum from Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea has spent more than £500 million overall under their new owners, and one of their main priorities this summer will be recovering money to be in compliance with Financial Fair Play.

The only substantial payment they received in January was from Arsenal, who agreed to a £12 million deal at a discount for Jorginho, whose contract had only six months remaining.

Arsenal is one of the teams prepared to attempt and score a deal, according to The Guardian, who also claims that Chelsea intends to be “ruthless” in cutting its roster and selling players in the summer.

Given that Hudson-Odoi is a homegrown player and was previously one of the Premier League’s top young players, the prospect is appealing.

Even though he scored in the Champions League, the 22-year-loan old’s to the Bundesliga hasn’t been able to revive his form thus far, with only one assist and no goals in 11 league games.

Prior to a prospective transfer, Arsenal is keeping an eye on Hudson-play Odoi’s for Leverkusen, and other teams are monitoring his potential availability.

In addition to selling the winger, Chelsea would consider bids for Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech, whose transfer to PSG was derailed by a paperwork error.

Despite only signing Kalidou Koulibaly and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last summer, they are also eager to transfer both of them. Thomas Tuchel, the fired manager, is thought to have played a key role in their acquisition.

Romelu Lukaku should be sold or, at the very least, given another season’s loan to Inter for Chelsea, who would also prefer to offload Conor Gallagher and Ben Chilwell.
