Benjamin Sesko, the talented forward, has decided to stick with RB Leipzig, turning down a move to the Premier League. Despite drawing eyes from big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, Sesko chose to extend his stay at Leipzig until 2029, following a successful season where he netted 14 goals.

At just 21, Sesko feels that staying put is the best move for his career. He’s set to be a regular starter for a team that’s competing in the Champions League. “My first year here was great, and I’m thrilled to stay. The club, the city, and the fans have been amazing,” Sesko shared. “Even though I didn’t get many chances to play or score at the start, it helped me grow.”

He added, “The trust and support I get here mean everything. My goal-scoring picked up in the latter half of the season, and I want to keep pushing forward with this squad.”

RB Leipzig’s sporting director, Rouven Schroder, praised Sesko’s growth, saying, “He’s proven himself as a top-notch striker, especially in the second season half, scoring in seven consecutive games. At 21, his talent is evident, and we’re excited to have him as a cornerstone for our future successes.”

Sesko’s commitment to Leipzig is a testament to the club’s vision and ambition to remain a dominant force in German and European football.
