James did an amazing job in his latest game and believes that Chelsea is improving under Mauricio Pochettino.

Reece James is determined to help Chelsea make it into the Champions League after a fantastic performance in his comeback match against Nottingham Forest.

James had been out for five months due to a hamstring injury, but he made a big impact when he came back. He helped Chelsea win 3-2 against Nottingham Forest by setting up the winning goal for Nicolas Jackson just three minutes after coming off the bench.

This victory has moved Chelsea up to seventh place in the table, giving

them a better chance of qualifying for the Europa League. But James has his eyes set higher; he believes Chelsea should be aiming for the Champions League.

“We’re getting better every day,” James said in an interview with Chelsea TV. “We’ve had some tough days this season, but overall, we’ve improved a lot. Towards the end of the season, we’re really starting to show our strength.”

James was thrilled to be back on the pitch after such a long time out. “It felt amazing to be out there again!” he exclaimed. “I’ve been waiting for this moment for months. It was tough being sidelined for so long, but I’m glad I could finally contribute to the team’s success.”

“It’s been a challenging journey to get back to this point,” James continued. “Initially, we thought I’d only be out for three months, but it ended up being almost five. There were some tough days, but I kept pushing myself to get back in shape and help the team.”

James was particularly pleased to assist Nicolas Jackson’s winning goal. “Crossing is one of my strengths,” he explained. “When I saw the opportunity to set up Nicolas, I knew he’d put it away. It’s a great feeling to contribute to the team like that.”

Overall, James is optimistic about Chelsea’s future. “We’re starting to find our rhythm,” he said. “We’re becoming more consistent, which is crucial. I believe we can achieve big things if we keep working hard.
