Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle are keeping an eye on a young football player named Mario Dorgeles from FC Nordsjaelland. He’s only 19 years old and is getting attention because he’s doing really well. He’s being coached by Michael Essien, who used to play for Chelsea, in Denmark. People think Mario could be the next big star to come from FC Nordsjaelland.

Other teams like Brighton, Monaco, Lille, Lyon, and Marseille are also interested in him. Even Dan Ashworth, who works for Manchester United, thinks Mario is talented.

In 2023, Essien said Mario was one of the best three players at FC Nordsjaelland. The other two players have moved to Lyon and Brighton. Mario has played 43 games for FC Nordsjaelland since he joined them from Ivory Coast in 2022. He’s known for being really good at playing in the midfield with his left foot.

If Mario moves to the Premier League, he’ll be following the path of Mohammed Kudus, who left FC Nordsjaelland for Ajax in 2020 and then went to West Ham. Simon Adingra, who now plays for Brighton, and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who’s at Southampton, also started at FC Nordsjaelland.

FC Nordsjaelland is owned by the Right to Dream Academy, which helps talented players from Africa get noticed by European clubs. Lots of scouts from big European teams visit FC Nordsjaelland to watch their players.
