Good news for Chelsea fans! Cole Palmer, one of their key players, is all set to play against Aston Villa this Saturday. He couldn’t join the team for the last game against Arsenal because he was sick, but now he’s back in action and ready to take on Aston Villa, who are trying hard to secure a spot in the Champions League.

But unfortunately, some other players are still dealing with injuries. Malo Gusto, Levi Colwill, Reece James, and now Raheem Sterling won’t be able to play. When asked about Colwill and James, Pochettino, the coach, said they’re almost ready, but not quite there yet. They’ve been doing some training, but they’re not fit to play just yet.

As for Raheem Sterling, he’s also out due to pain in his lower back.

Adding to the injury list, Carney Chukwuemeka got injured too, and Enzo Fernandez recently had surgery, which means he’s out for the rest of the season. Pochettino mentioned that Carney felt something in his knee related to a previous issue. They’re hoping it’s not serious and he can get back on the field soon.

Talking about Fernandez, Pochettino emphasized the importance of fixing his problem so he can perform well. If he’s not at his best because of the injury, it’s not good for him or the team.
