The young fan was left alone on the field at Anfield, not knowing where to go.

After the incident, Chelsea has invited the young mascot to meet their players at their training ground. The mascot was left by himself during a song before the match against Liverpool.

Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea’s manager, said it wasn’t Chelsea players’ fault that the mascot was left alone, suggesting it was Liverpool’s responsibility.

However, Chelsea is making up for it by inviting the young fan to their training ground. They will give him a signed shirt and have invited him to be a mascot at a future game.

Chelsea officials contacted the family right after learning about the incident. The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust also helped organize this special day.

Pochettino mentioned that there should be a protocol to ensure kids are taken care of on the field, but he didn’t blame anyone specifically. He thinks everyone needs to be careful in such situations. He doesn’t believe it’s the players’ responsibility as they’re focused on the game and expect someone to escort the mascot.
