Estevao Willian, often called ‘Little Messi’, is about to make history as the priciest young footballer from South America to sign with a club.

He’s just about done with his move to Chelsea after he passed his health check-up in Brazil. The 17-year-old’s transfer from Palmeiras is starting at £29.5 million but might go up to over £51 million.

If it reaches that high, Estevao will be the top South American teen signing ever.

Everyone’s talking about Willian because he’s super talented, and the folks at Chelsea think he could be a big deal in the future.

The new bosses at Chelsea have been eyeing young talents from South America since they took over, aiming to build a strong, young team for Chelsea’s future.

They’ve already brought in Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, Angelo, and Kendry Paez. Paez, from Ecuador, is another one to watch and he’ll join Chelsea in 2025 from his current team, Independiente del Valle.
