Chelsea is making big moves in the transfer market, focusing on young talents from South America. One of the most exciting prospects is 19-year-old Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors, who is about to join Chelsea for £17 million. This young centre-back, who can also play in midfield, is expected to sign a six-year contract. He may initially be loaned to Chelsea’s sister club, Strasbourg, to gain more experience.

Anselmino isn’t the only new face at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is also welcoming Omari Kellyman, an 18-year-old midfielder from Aston Villa, and Marc Guiu, an 18-year-old striker from Barcelona. Guiu is set for a medical at Chelsea after his £5 million release clause was activated.

These signings are part of Chelsea’s ongoing strategy to invest in young South American talent. The club recently signed Brazilian starlet Estevao Willian from Palmeiras for £29.5 million. Although Estevao won’t join until he turns 18 in 2025, his potential has already drawn high praise from Brazilian superstar Neymar, who called him “a genius” and Brazil’s next big star.

Chelsea’s roster already includes promising young Brazilian players like Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, and Angelo Gabriel, as well as Ecuadorian talent Kendry Paez. The club’s owners believe that investing in these young talents from South America will add significant value to the team in the future.

With these new additions, Chelsea is clearly committed to building a strong foundation of young, talented players who can make a big impact in the coming years.
