Chelsea player ratings vs Everton: Perfection from exceptional Cole Palmer as Noni Madueke offers real threat

Cole Palmer had an incredible game, scoring four goals to lead Chelsea to a massive 6-0 win against Everton at Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old now shares the top scorer spot in the Premier League with Erling Haaland. Palmer’s goals came in quick succession early in the match: first, a beautifully curved left-footed shot, then a header just five minutes later, followed by a stunning 35-yard lob with his right foot, all within the first half-hour.

Nicolas Jackson joined the scoring spree with a fantastic touch, turn, and finish near the post to make it four for Chelsea. Palmer completed his hat-trick and added a fourth goal from the penalty spot in the second half, after Conor Gallagher won the ball from a heated argument between Jackson and Noni Madueke. Alfie Gilchrist sealed the victory with a late goal.

This win brings Chelsea within striking distance of European qualification, trailing just one point behind West Ham and three behind Newcastle and Manchester United in the race for European spots.
