The March international break is almost here, and it’s a crucial time for national teams. This is their last chance to decide who will represent them in the upcoming European Championships in Germany or Copa America in the United States.

Some teams haven’t finalized their squads yet, and there might be playoff matches to determine final selections.

In England, manager Southgate has chosen Ben Chilwell, Conor Gallagher, and Cole Palmer for friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley Stadium. Despite an injury, Chilwell might still join the training camp.

Raheem Sterling is once again not included, and Levi Colwill’s absence might hint at a more serious injury.

France’s Malo Gusto and Axel Disasi didn’t make the senior team, but Gusto might still play for the U21s.

Argentina has called up Enzo Fernandez for their friendlies in the US, while Ecuador is expected to include Moises Caicedo for their matches there.

Ukraine, led by Mudryk, will face Bosnia in a Euro 2024 playoff match, with a potential matchup against the winners of Iceland and Israel for a spot in the European Championships.

Those not on international duty will have a break until March 30th after the FA Cup tie against Leicester.
