Chelsea Premier League 2024: Man City Clash First, Easier Games Ahead

Chelsea’s new season is kicking off with a bang! They’re starting at home against the reigning champs, Manchester City. It’s a fresh start with Enzo Maresca stepping in as the new manager, and everyone’s curious to see how he’ll shake things up after Mauricio Pochettino’s exit last season.

The first few weeks look good for Chelsea, except for that tough opener. They won’t face another top team until they play Liverpool in October. But then, it gets intense with back-to-back games against last year’s best teams, plus an interesting match against Leicester City, which will be special for Maresca.

Come Christmas time, Chelsea will have a local derby against Fulham to spice up the holidays. And to wrap up the season, they’ll head to Nottingham Forest.

Here’s a quick look at Chelsea’s schedule for the Premier League 2023/24:

  • August: They kick off with Manchester City at home and then hit the road against Wolverhampton and Crystal Palace.
  • September: Travels continue with Bournemouth and West Ham away games, then back home to face Brighton.
  • October: A mix of home and away games with Nottingham Forest at home and Liverpool away.
  • November: A challenging month with Newcastle, Manchester United, Arsenal, Leicester City, and Aston Villa.
  • December: The festive season brings matches against Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford, Everton, Fulham on Boxing Day, and Ipswich Town.
  • January to May 2025: The new year starts with Crystal Palace away and ends with a final game at Nottingham Forest.

It’s going to be an exciting season for sure!
