Enzo Maresca Era Begins: Chelsea Confirms Tosin Adarabioyo Signing

Chelsea Football Club has kicked off the Enzo Maresca era by signing defender Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham on a four-year contract.

Despite interest from Manchester United and Newcastle, Adarabioyo, 26, chose to stay in London as he parted ways with Fulham.

Adarabioyo, a product of Manchester City’s youth system, is set to fill the gap left by Thiago Silva’s move to Fluminense.

Chelsea values Adarabioyo for his skill with the ball and his strength in the air, qualities they believe will be beneficial as they build the team under new coach Maresca.

Having played over 100 games for Fulham in four years, Adarabioyo was key in helping the team secure their place in the Premier League.

Now, the Manchester-born defender is ready to make his mark at Chelsea, one of the Premier League’s most established clubs.

The signing also suggests that Trevoh Chalobah might be leaving Chelsea, as the club is open to selling him for about £25 million.

Fulham has shown interest in Chalobah, a 24-year-old defender, but it’s unclear if they’ll agree to Chelsea’s price.

Adarabioyo bid farewell to Fulham on social media, expressing gratitude for his time at the club and the memories made with teammates, staff, and fans. He’s now looking forward to starting this new chapter with Chelsea.
