Former Chelsea striker agrees to sign for Tottenham

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with former Chelsea striker and Germany international Timo Werner. The 27-year-old wants to play in the Premier League again and is excited to work under Ange Postecoglou. The deal is a loan move with an option to buy, and the clubs are finalising the details today. @JacobsBen on X also confirmed that Werner has given his consent to the transfer and praised his ability to play in different positions. He added that Spurs see him as more than a replacement for the injured Son Heung-min.
