After Chelsea’s impressive 6-1 win over Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup, Gary Neville shared his thoughts on the Gary Neville Podcast. He praised Ben Chilwell as a player who has to maintain a good level of performance.
Neville said, “He needs that run of games, he’s a big talent for Chelsea, potential talent for England. But Mauricio Pochettino needs a reliable, consistent defence. And we always seem to be talking about when Chilwell and James are fit. It’s a shame for them.”
Chelsea are hoping that Ben Chilwell will be ready to lead the blues at Wembley next month for the Carabao Cup final.
