Jean-Clair Todibo Discusses Future Amid Manchester United and Chelsea Transfer Interest

Top English football teams are showing a lot of interest in 24-year-old Jean-Clair Todibo, a defender from Nice. He’s admitted to having a chat about his career options, with Manchester United and Chelsea both keeping an eye on him.

Reports suggest he’s on the wishlist for these big clubs as they plan their teams for the upcoming season. Chelsea, in particular, seems to have reached out to Todibo as they’re looking to strengthen their defense. With Thiago Silva moving back to Fluminense and Tosin Adarabioyo leaving Fulham, Chelsea is on the lookout for new talent.

Manchester United is also in the mix, considering Todibo as a possible pick if they don’t go for Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton. With Raphael Varane leaving and Lisandro Martinez having a tough season due to injuries, United’s defense could use some fresh faces.

Even Tottenham showed interest in Todibo earlier this year, but they ended up signing Radu Dragusin instead.

Todibo has been a key player for Nice, helping them secure the second spot in France’s Ligue 1. He’s careful not to talk too openly about his future out of respect for his current club and its fans, but he’s hinted at some behind-the-scenes talks.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Todibo shared, “I really don’t want to discuss my future plans out of respect for Nice’s supporters and the club. But yes, we’ve had some talks.”

He also expressed his personal goals, saying, “I aim to compete in the world’s top football events and be the best defender I can be.
