Jose Mourinho has heard Chelsea fans calling for him to come back. Some fans were shouting his name during a recent match against Brentford. This happened while the current coach, Mauricio Pochettino, is having a tough time convincing everyone.

Mourinho, who is 61 years old, doesn’t have a coaching job right now since he got fired by AS Roma. But he has said he wants to get back into coaching.

In the past, Mourinho won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and three League Cups while managing Chelsea. However, he was fired for the second time in 2015.

Even though he’s no longer coaching Chelsea, Mourinho is still liked by many fans. However, Chelsea isn’t planning to replace Pochettino with Mourinho right now.

Pochettino, the current coach, admits he’s not feeling the love from the fans after a tough first season. But he says it’s normal for a new coach to face this kind of situation, especially during the early days of new ownership.

Chelsea still has a chance to qualify for European football based on their performance in the Premier League. They also have a big game coming up against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.

The people who make decisions at Chelsea are likely to keep Pochettino as the coach until the end of the season. They don’t want a repeat of last season when they sacked Graham Potter and ended the season poorly.

When asked about the fans calling for his return, Mourinho said that football fans are special because they love their clubs deeply. He thinks fans are fair in their opinions, and even though he’s had success in the past, what matters most is showing commitment to the fans.
