Mauricio Pochettino says some of his players were very nervous before the Carabao Cup final. They were so nervous that they couldn’t sleep. Now, he wants to go back to Wembley for the FA Cup.

On Sunday afternoon, Chelsea will play against Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-final. This match is important because it could decide how their season goes.

The FA Cup is the last chance for teams to win a trophy this season. If Chelsea win, they can go to the Europa League, which is a big deal because they’re currently 11th in the Premier League.

This season has been tough for Pochettino and his players. They are young and not used to reaching finals. Pochettino says they need to learn from these experiences to get better.

He said, “If we beat Leicester again, it would be huge for us. Some players couldn’t sleep before the Carabao Cup final. We want to reach the semi-final and maybe even the final. Playing at Wembley again would be different.”

But first, they need to beat Leicester. Pochettino knows it won’t be easy because Leicester has a great coach and players.

Chelsea’s lineup will probably be the same as usual, but Ben Chilwell might come back. Pochettino said Gareth Southgate confirmed that Chilwell is fit and will be in the squad on Sunday.

Pochettino also praised Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher, who will join the England squad after the match. He said Palmer is doing well adapting to Chelsea and handling the pressure. Gallagher always gives his best, and that’s what makes him special.

He encouraged Gallagher to keep improving and believing in himself.
