Mauricio Pochettino is going to manage at Soccer Aid again this summer. Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard will also be back at Stamford Bridge for the event.

Soccer Aid is a charity football match that has raised over £90 million for UNICEF since 2006. This year’s match will be on June 9. Pochettino will lead the World XI team, just like he did last year.

Instead of being at Old Trafford like last time, the match will be in west London, which is familiar territory for Lampard and his assistant Jesus Perez.

Lampard will manage the England team alongside Harry Redknapp and Robbie Williams. He’s had two stints as Chelsea boss, including a recent one as caretaker manager after Graham Potter left.

Lampard said he’s thrilled to play at Stamford Bridge again, especially for a cause like Soccer Aid.

Hazard will also return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid in 2019. Despite a tough time at Real Madrid due to injuries, he announced his retirement last October.

Hazard said he’s excited to come back to Stamford Bridge and reminisce about the good times he had there.

In Pochettino’s World XI team, Hazard will play alongside other stars like Usain Bolt, Roberto Carlos, and Tommy Fury. More players will be announced later.

For the England team, Jill Scott, Stuart Broad, Jack Wilshere, and Sir Mo Farah are confirmed players. England hasn’t won the match since 2018.

Soccer Aid for UNICEF will happen on June 9 at Stamford Bridge. You can buy tickets now at socceraid.org.uk/tickets.
