New footage just came out showing a big argument during Chelsea’s recent match against Everton. Noni Madueke won a penalty for Chelsea in the 64th minute, when they were already winning 4-0 at Stamford Bridge. But things got messy because there was confusion about who should take the penalty kick.

Normally, Cole Palmer takes penalties for Chelsea, and he’s really good at it, scoring eight out of eight before this game. But since he’d already scored three goals in this match, some other players thought they should get a chance to take the penalty instead.

Conor Gallagher, Chelsea’s captain, had to step in to calm things down. Even after some wise words from Thiago Silva, Nicolas Jackson still tried to grab the ball from Palmer. The situation got tense, with players arguing and pushing.

New video footage shows what happened after the penalty was awarded. Madueke and Jackson both rushed towards the ball, with Madueke getting hold of it first and telling Jackson off. Then, Gallagher and Palmer got involved to sort things out. Jackson tried to get the ball again, but he was stopped, and Madueke walked away annoyed.

After the game, Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, said he was really disappointed about what happened. He apologized to fans and football lovers everywhere, saying that behavior like that isn’t acceptable. He was upset because the match was being watched by people all over the world, and Chelsea’s behavior didn’t look good.
