Emma Hayes has been working hard for 12 years to make Chelsea a team that always wins and stays strong mentally. Without her, Chelsea wouldn’t have won so many trophies recently.

As her time as manager comes to an end, the League Cup Final against Arsenal is the first chance to win a trophy this season. It could be a historic season if they win four trophies before Emma leaves for the United States.

Chelsea defender Niamh Charles says they are known as tough competitors, and she feels proud of that. She thinks it’s one of their team’s biggest strengths.

Charles, who joined Chelsea in 2020, has won seven trophies with the team and feels lucky to be part of such a successful club.

Last year, Chelsea lost to Arsenal in the League Cup Final, but they’re facing them again this year. Charles says every game now feels like a final, not just the actual final.

After the League Cup, Chelsea still have chances to win the FA Cup, Champions League, and WSL this season. Charles says they’re in a good position, but they know they could end up with nothing if they’re not careful.

She says this is the exciting part of the season, and they’re not getting lazy or tired.

Chelsea recently beat Arsenal in the WSL, which has boosted their confidence for the final.

Charles believes Chelsea can beat Arsenal again in the final and says there’s no other team she’d rather be a part of. She acknowledges Arsenal as a top team but believes Chelsea can win if they give their best.
