Pochettino issues Jackson message after online abuse of Chelsea star

Mauricio Pochettino had some advice for Nicolas Jackson after the FA Cup semi-final. Jackson faced harsh comments, even racism, on social media because he missed some big chances against Manchester City.

Pochettino talked about how tough it can be for players, especially with social media where people can say mean things without showing who they are. He emphasized that what people say online shouldn’t define a person.

He mentioned that Jackson is still learning, especially in his first season. It’s hard, especially for a striker, when everyone expects goals with every touch. Jackson has been an important player for Chelsea, even though some others have more goals.

Despite Cole Palmer possibly missing the next game, Pochettino trusts Jackson to do well. He praised Jackson’s efforts for the team, both in scoring and assisting goals. Pochettino acknowledged that Jackson might not be at the level of past Chelsea legends yet, but he sees great potential and will support him. He believes Jackson will improve with time and experience.
